This memorial wall art features the contiguous 48 United States, laser cut from layered basswood and assembled by hand. Inside the USA shape, a distressed American flag adds depth and meaning. On the top layer, a bold black border frames a powerful battlefield cross scene. A kneeling soldier honors the fallen beside an upright rifle, boots, and helmet.
The layered design mounts to a wood panel canvas, similar to a traditional artist’s canvas. The front uses a smooth solid wood panel. Meanwhile, the back features a raised wooden frame around the outer edge. As a result, the piece gains strength, depth, and easy wall display.
